is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Technology and Global Affairs, University of Oxford. He is also the Chairman of Fipra International Ltd, a global public affairs advisory firm. Before joining Fipra in 2016, Robert served as a public servant for 4 decades in both the UK and the European Union. He has led in trade and investment negotiations, in regulating both the food-chain and telecoms/the Internet, and in digital change strategies. Robert is the author of 'Opportunity Now: Europe's mission to innovate' (2016) and a co-author of ‘An ethical framework for a good AI society’ (2018).
