is the Chief of the Digital Government Branch of the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Since 2010, he has guided a team of experts in the publication of the UN E-Government Survey and leads the flagship UN e-Government programme assisting governments in advancing public sector reform and improve quality of public service delivery using innovation and ICTs. He has over 25 years of experience in ICT in public affairs working for international organizations, private sector and civil society and holds a Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bari, Italy.
